Confirmation Class:
At Zion Covenant, we value Confirmation as an intentional 2-year journey where students (starting at grades 7-8) dig deeper in God’s Word with a spiritual mentor and learn the biblical truths of our faith. This program runs from Oct.-May every year.
Our confirmation curriculum has three key aspects:
Mentor-student relationship, meeting weekly with a mentor to learn the story of Scripture in Bible study and build a stronger relationship with a trusted brother or sister in Christ;
Confirmation class, meeting once a month to learn the foundational aspects of our faith;
Yearly project, a personal study, done with their mentor, to help students dig deeper into certain aspects of what we will be learning in throughout the year.
